Studio Überdutch & Offices in the Turfschip Breda 2014

During my internship at Studio Überdutch my main task was to design the interior of the coffee corner at the first floor of an office building. The coffee corner had to become the place were employees would have lunch, but also where they could have informal meetings.
At the start of this project the coffee corner space and the main idea of the interior was already put in Solidworks. My task was to specify the furniture, lighting and other pieces. Thinking about the right balance between them and the theme of the space.
Using Solidworks and Photoshop, renders were made both to communicate the concept to the client and to be able to iterate on it. Several furniture items were to be designed by us and manufactured by an external company, like the big, black cupboard at the back wall of the room. Other items had to be customized and ordered.
Talking to people from the offices a year later, I found the goal was reached. It became a great place to drink coffee, have lunch, meet colleagues and to do Friday afternoon drinks.
